Dobie Record Board Updated!

January 22nd, 2009

The record board for the Dobie Swim Team was updated this morning by Mr. Williams to reflect the 200 freestyle relay record that was broken last season by the team made up of Sarah Woernley, Alex Zayas, Chelsea Graham and Kathleen Nguyen. Congrats, girls on an awesome relay. I was one of the lucky ones and got to see it in the making at the Galena Park Natatorium last year!

Welcome to the New Web Site

January 22nd, 2009

ricknronda1Well, I have finally created a blog-based web site for the Dobie Swim Team Booster Club.  It is also a place where the coaches can post notes and information can be passed around.  Hopefully in the next few weeks, I will add parents and swimmers as contributors as well as create categories for people to post their comments.  Please use the appropriate category to post your blogs so that we can keep this organized.

Parents and swimmers can register simply by clicking on the Register link.  Until I set you as contributor, you can only comment on posts.  Once I promote you to Contributor, you will be able to post blogs.

Thanks and here is looking forward to the great “rest of the swim season”.
